Designed and built to meet the extreme demands of processing timber with harvester machinery equipment, STIHL harvester guide bars are characterized by the following features:

• Constructed from quenched and tempered, wear-resistant spring steel with high bending rigidity and stability, and resistance to deformation
• Laser-hardened rails for wear resistance
• Connection between the bar and nose consists of a patented, high strength laser welded wavy contour seam
• High rigidity and resistance to fracturing in the nose area
• STIHL ROLLOMATIC® bar nose with maintenance-free sprocket (lubrication not required)
• In addition to the STIHL Ematic™ guide bar, harvester bars feature a patented rubber insert that seals the oil entry area so that no oil is wasted
• The STIHL Ematic™ Bar Lubrication principle and patented adapters ensure optimum utilization of bar and chain oil with reduced consumption up to 50 percent
